Y.C.C'S She's a Lady
Where do we even begin with Lady. For starters we are very lucky to have her. Anita actually had complications during pregnancy and aborted over half the litter. I went to a few vets trying to get help and none of them were breeders and they wanted to take the rest of the babies out. the odds of survival at the age are so low. I took Anita home, kept her super calm and she held the last 3 in, THANK GOD! She is such a smart and goofy girl. So very sweet, just wants to be under foot at all times. She is down for whatever and honestly will do anything you ask of her as long as she gets pets. We had huge plans for her but unfortunately life had some other plans. Lady, being her clumsy self (much like her human mother) fell off the porch as a puppy and tore her ACL. We decided to pull her from show training, as her gait was off, and started working on service dog training. HOWEVER, (haha if you follow me at all on social media..you know my life is always chaotic) it was 2020 and who was going anywhere?! Mid 2020 I started working at the vet office and any dog stuff went on hold for a while. Honestly there was not enough time to do both. I loved vet med so much but eventually burnt out and needed a break. Now I am back to giving Lady all the attention she desperately wants!! She is loving this whole house renovation, missing wall stuff too. She says it's easier to get to mom when you can just walk in between studs. HAHA Oh speaking of studs!!! Lady is a beyond beautiful mix of her father and mother!! I dreamed of having one just like her and I will say, LADY IS HANDS DOWN ONE OF THE MOST STUNNING BABIES! I'm so proud of her and her offspring so far!! I had been eyeballing studs for her before she even completed all of her OFA tests. We have used 2 wonderful studs with her so far and have one more in the works. I cannot wait to see all of their kiddos grown and looking stunning.
